The life of Joe, an anonymous assassin, takes an unexpected turn when he travels to Thailand to complete a series of contract killings. Joe, a remorseless hitman, is in Bangkok to execute four enemies of a ruthless crime boss named Surat. He hires Kong, a street punk and pickpocket, to run errands for him with the intention of covering his tracks by killing him at the end of the assignment. Strangely, Joe, the ultimate lone wolf, finds himself mentoring the young man instead whilst simultaneously being drawn into a tentative romance with a local shop girl. Director (Late) Jeeva was remembered for his films like ‘12-B’, ‘Ullam Ketkumae’ and ‘Unnale Unnale’. ‘Dhaam Dhoom’, unfortunately, was his last venture as he passed away in Moscow last year, just before the completion of the film.

According to news ‘Dhaam Dhoom’ is a non-stop action thriller featuring ‘Jeyam’ Ravi (for the first time in this kind of a film), Lakshmi Rai and Bollywood beauty Kangna Ranaut in lead roles.

While the entire film has been shot in Russia, songs have been filmed at different locations in India. The shooting has also been held Pollachi, Hyderabad, Coorg, Thenkasi and Nellai besides Russia.

A story line of this movie is, “The film begins with a 5-day trip to Russia undertaken by a house surgeon (‘Jeyam’ Ravi) to take part in a medical conference. A sequence of totally unexpected events lands him in big trouble for no fault of his and makes him run for his life.

Well versed only in Tamil and English, our hero finds himself trapped in Russia, where English language is hardly shown any respect. In this situation, he finally gets help from a practicing lawyer in Russia

Synopsis

After a long time our super star has given more importance to the script rather than to his heroic charisma. One can notice the actor Rajini of AARILIRUNTHU ARABATHU VARAI type in KUSELAN. It is a marvellous performance by our super star. At the same time Director P Vasu has been cautious in order to satisfy Rajini fans by including few punch dialogues and fight sequences. Rajini gives a new grammar to friendship by twisting the saying and boasting it like “Matha Pitha Guru Nanban Dheivam”. There was a great applause from the audience when he says this dialogue.
